Link building outreach
Competitor-footprint prospecting, qualification, personal pitches, follow-up.
Learn moreSEO Outreach Services
Templated outreach is a mail-merge machine: thousands of identical emails, zero research. Ours is the opposite, researchers finding real prospects, specialists writing pitches one by one, follow-ups that keep conversations alive. Campaigns go out from your brand's own email address whenever you can provide one, because editors open emails from brands, not strangers on Gmail. When you can't provide one, we use our own generic email addresses, which brings fewer responses.
The Ten Disciplines
Outreach changes shape with every contact. These are the ten disciplines we run:
Links carry enormous ranking weight, earned through conversation. Footprint and gap analysis show where competitors earned links; we pitch those sites with something worth linking to. Every site is qualified: real traffic, editorial standards, verified metrics.
Learn moreResource pages are curated lists of a niche's best links, and curators guard them. We find maintained pages in your industry and show where your content fits and why readers would thank them for it, short, specific, built around reader benefit.
Learn morePodcasts are an overlooked authority source: hosts link guests in show notes, and those pages carry real traffic. We find niche shows, listen to recent episodes, pitch you or a teammate as a guest, and handle scheduling.
Learn moreVideo creators link tools and resources in descriptions daily, but ignore collaboration spam. We find YouTubers whose audience overlaps yours and pitch what they are making: a resource viewers want, a product worth reviewing. The link follows naturally.
Learn moreNewsletters and podcasts run on sponsorships, and sponsors get mentioned and linked. We find opportunities where your audience spends time, then negotiate placements with a proper link and real visibility, handling the back-and-forth on rates and deliverables.
Learn moreShort-form creators move audiences fast, trends, TikTok Shop, and Spark Ads-ready collaborations with creators your buyers already watch. No scripts, no bulk blasts.
Learn moreReels and Stories partnerships with creators your buyers already trust. DM outreach, tiered nano-to-macro strategy, and affiliate-ready collaborations.
Learn moreEmail wins most placements, so deliverability and verification are everything. We authenticate sending domains, verify every address, and write personalized sequences that scale: the full email craft.
Learn moreCreators on any platform can move audiences, but only the right ones move yours. We vet for engagement and audience fit, negotiate protective terms, and build lasting relationships. One genuine endorsement beats a dozen paid mentions.
Learn moreX (formerly Twitter) rewards people who show up before they ask. We find prospects, engage with their posts first, then pitch through DMs and mentions with proper etiquette. Engagement-first outreach opens doors a cold DM never would.
Learn moreThe Process
Every campaign follows the same sequence:
We start where competitors earned their links: with Ahrefs and Semrush we map sites linking to businesses like yours, spot the links you are missing, and approach proven linkers in your niche.
Every prospect is vetted before a word is written: real traffic, active publishing, editorial standards, metrics that hold up. Ahrefs DR, Moz DA, Majestic TF/CF. Link sellers are cut.
Our specialist writes to a named person about their specific site, referencing their content and audience, never mail-merge fields. Short, honest, clear on the benefit; you approve first.
Most replies come from the polite second or third touch. We follow up in the original thread, add something new rather than nagging, and know when to stop.
When a prospect says yes, we see it through, content delivered, link placed, page verified live and indexed. Your report lists live URLs. Dropped links get flagged.
From the Founder
Founder Muhammad Shakeel has run outreach the same hands-on way since 2013. His 5-step method: These 5 steps have not changed in 13 years because the mechanics of trust have not changed either. Each one exists to protect your reputation while opening doors that automation keeps shut. The method is teachable, which is why every specialist on the team runs it the same way.

Every campaign starts inside Ahrefs and Semrush, digging through resource hubs, directories, and mention patterns to surface sites worth pitching. No purchased lists, no blind scraping: the list comes from real research from the first hour.
He pulls competitor backlink profiles, isolates high-authority sites linking to rivals but not to the client, and shortlists the gaps in a shared Google Sheet. Every prospect there is already proven to link in your niche.
Contacts are found with Hunter.io, then checked one by one to confirm they reach the right person: the editor, producer, or site owner who can say yes. No info@ guesses, no dead addresses burned on sends.
Each prospect gets a pitch written specifically for them, referencing their content, their audience, their angle, before any outreach goes out. The personalization is written into the pitch itself, not layered on top of a template.
We guide every client to provide a brand email, because campaigns sent from the client's domain get a better response ratio: response rates from generic Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail addresses are extremely low; they read as spam before opening. If a client can't provide a brand email, we use our own generic email addresses, which brings fewer responses.
The Difference
Editors spot a template in seconds. Manual outreach is slower, and that is exactly why it works. 5 things separate our approach from the blast-and-pray crowd: A template asks 500 editors for the same favor; a manual pitch asks 1 editor for something specific. That specificity is what earns replies, placements, and relationships that pay off again. The 5 differences below are not philosophy, they are our operating procedure.

A templated campaign starts with a purchased list. Ours starts with your competitors' link profiles, your niche's publications, and hours of reading, so we know who we are talking to.
Greetings like “Dear Webmaster” confess you did no work. Our pitches name the person, reference their content, and propose something specific to their audience, slower, far more likely answered.
A random Gmail account reads as spam before it is opened. We guide every client to provide a brand email, because sending from your brand's domain with SPF and DKIM authentication gets a better response ratio; your brand in the sender line gives every email credibility. If you can't provide one, we use our own generic email addresses, which brings fewer responses.
Most agencies send one email and move on. We run polite, spaced follow-ups in the original thread; busy people miss good emails. That is where most placements are won; automation fails worst here.
An editor who says yes once often says yes again. We keep notes on every conversation and treat prospects as future partners. Cold lists become warm relationships that keep producing placements.
Transparency
Outreach you cannot see is outreach you cannot trust. Every campaign runs on a shared record, what went out, who replied, what landed, so you always know exactly what your budget bought:
Who we pitched, why they made the list, and where we found their contact. The prospect list grows out of competitor-gap research tracked in a shared Google Sheet, no mystery names, no purchased lists, nothing you cannot inspect.
Yes, no, negotiating, or silent after follow-ups, every response is recorded with dates, so the conversation history never gets lost, even when a campaign runs for months and involves dozens of threads.
When a link goes live, we check it: the page is indexed, the link is contextual and functional, the anchor reads naturally. Your report lists live URLs you can open and confirm yourself. Dropped links get flagged, never hidden.
No vanity metrics, no padded activity counts. Each reporting round tells you what went out, what landed, what is still in conversation, and what happens next, written so clearly that a non-SEO can read it and know exactly what the budget bought.
The Team
Outreach fails as a side task. At Rank Rays, each part has a dedicated specialist, overseen by a founder earning links since 2013: Each job below gets a person who does nothing else. That focus is the difference between a campaign that compounds and one that fizzles. The team below is the entire operation: no hidden freelancers, no handoffs to strangers.

Faisal Mahmood runs outreach, writing pitches, managing follow-ups, turning prospects into placements.
Muhammad Razaq leads link building strategy; Muhammad Umar and Tahir Islam handle research, prospecting, and site qualification.
Ahmar Naz writes the content, guest articles, pitch collateral, anything a placement requires.
Founder Muhammad Shakeel oversees strategy. SEO since the oDesk era of 2013, 2200+ websites worked on, and 95% client satisfaction.
